And the monster game is back. The follow are monsters that were made from prior to Christmas until now - about a two week period.
This was one done by me. I’ve been too eager to show these monsters to anyone that will take a look, but I also am trying to invite others to play with me. Tony Giamichael took a fond liking to this one, so I figured I’d put it up for him. He offered to buy the original from me, which although I’d rather just give it to him, made me happy.
I remember vividly when my parents talked to me about the value of art. I had an interesting conversation with a friend-of-mine’s father a couple weeks ago at a Christmas party. I told him how I was nervous to try to make a living via art (specifically acting) and he said something to the effect of, “The world needs artists”. More importantly though, he talked about how he goes through periods of self-doubt, and worries that he hasn’t done anything with his life. He’s a tremendously successful lawyer.
